The Process Of Building New Home

The process of home construction begins with designing and planning. People in-charge of engineering make plans for the project based on the blueprints of the investor. If somebody bought a lot in the subdivision then starts a building plan for the homeowners’ house too.

Before the house building starts for open house use and potential buyers’ viewing of the real estate offered for sale, the site work contractor will develop estimates for the investors to finalize the budget of the project. Then the designs are submitted to the local government to get building permits for the project.

After securing building permits, the contractor may begin the earthwork on the site. The initial groundwork includes any necessary grading for forming an even level foundation needed to start new home construction. The process requires the earth is removed or added as needed and installation of underground piping.

Once the earthwork is complete, framing the houses using steel or wood studs follows. At this stage, the builders build walls, roof framing, and floors, which also include the installation of windows and exterior doors. Once the house has been established, the roof is created to make the structure watertight. Then brick or exterior siding are installed for the house to make a finished look.

The next stage will involve electrical and mechanical contractors. They will run the plumbing pipes and wiring throughout the structure. The heating and cooling systems are fitted and tested, interior doors are placed, then the drywall is fixed. Then fixtures and hardware are, and the walls get painted.

This ends the new home construction and ready for the local authority inspection to ensure the constructed structure meets safety and local building codes. Lastly, an occupancy permit is secured so the family can move in.
